The competition, managed by DOE's Oak Ridge Institute for Science and Education (ORISE), will culminate in October when three teams present their findings at the annual meeting of the Geothermal Resources Council, September 30-October 3, in Reno, Nevada.
The U.S. Energy Department announced today that eight university teams have been selected to compete in the 2012 National Geothermal Student Competition.
