Hanoi to Host Int’l Renewable Energy Exhibition


The second international exhibition for renewable and decentralized energy solutions (Enerexpo Vietnam 2012) will take place in Hanoi on March 21-23.

Future projects in Vietnam include construction of a geothermal plant in the Mo Du District/Quang Ngai Province, with 21 MW capacity, a total investment of US$ 39 million.


The event offers an opportunity for both local and international companies to strengthen cooperation, enhance their understanding of advanced technological solutions for renewable energy, and attract investment. The expo will focus on solar, wind, hydropower, geothermal energy and bio-energy solutions and transmission as well as the supply of decentralized energy.

Foreign scientists and experts will discuss major issues such as the renewable energy market, current situations and trends, and renewable energy technologies. They will explore lessons learnt from experiences, opportunities and challenges investment in the field.

Seminars and forums are being scheduled to introduce new technologies, share experiences in developing renewable energy, and raise public awareness of the most suitable technologies to use to avoid risks in technology transfer.

Nearly 11 groups and companies from around the world will attend the event, which is organized by the National Agency for Science and Technology Information under the Ministry of Science and Technology in coordination with the International Technology Exhibition and Events Company under Mess Munchen International from Germany.
