Japanese Ministry of Environment Releases First Geothermal Power Guidelines (Ministry of the Environment Government of Japan )



To promote the adoption of renewable energy without affecting hot spring resources, the MOE has prepared the draft guidelines to protect hot spring resources from geothermal power generation.

The MOE invites comments from the general public regarding the guidelines. 

Comments will be accepted from February 3, 2012 to February 22, 2012. Comments should be submitted in Japanese.
