Geothermal Resources Council announces honors for the best geothermal presentations showcased at the GRC Annual Meeting.
The Geothermal Resources Council (GRC) has announced the outstanding presentations from the global geothermal community for 2011. The GRC has made these available on the GRC Website.
The judging was made in each of the technical sessions held at the GRC 2011 Annual Meeting in San Diego, the world’s largest geothermal event, last fall. The judging criteria included the quality of the visual aids as well as the ability to communicate the subject matter.
Over 230 presentations were made in 53 sessions covering 15 tracks. The GRC 2011 Annual Meeting attendees came from 32 different countries around the world highlighting the global interest in the geothermal industry.
The GRC has made almost all of the visual aids from over 230 technical presentations available on its Website at www.geothermal.org and is showcasing the 53 outstanding presentations at www.geothermal.org/powerpoint11_best.html.
The GRC has issued a call for papers to be presented at this year’s GRC 2012 Annual Meeting taking place September 30-October 3, in Reno, Nevada, USA, at the Peppermill Resort Spa Casino. The Draft Paper submission deadline is April 27, 2012.
