India: First Geothermal Power Plant Reportedly About to Start Generating Electricity

For the first time in the country, a geothermal plant will produce 20 kW of electricity daily (GujaratSamachar)

A geothermal power project led by the Centre of Excellence for Geothermal Energy at Pandit Deendayal Petroleum University is reported to be nearing completion in Dholera, Gujarat.

As reported by GujaratSamachar.com the power plant will start generating electricity in April, becoming the first geothermal power facility in India.
