According to the shareholder agreement signed by both parties, KS Orka and ONE agreed to establish the special purpose entity PT Samosir Geothermal Power to jointly develop the Simbolon-Samosir geothermal project, including: exploration, exploitation and development of geothermal resources; design, engineering, procurement, financing , Construction, testing, operation, ownership, management, operation and maintenance of geothermal field facilities and power plants from WKP regional energy; use of geothermal energy production in WKP areas, and sale of electricity to PLN based on project companies and PPAs that PLN will conclude.
The Simbolon Samosir WK is located in five Regencies in North Sumatra province, namely Samosir, North Tapanuli, Humbang Hasundutan and Dairi, North Sumatra province.
