Japan: Stronger Earthquake Near Kyushu Geothermal Power Plants

Magnitude 7.0 Earthquake Strikes Southern Japan

Epicenter is near Geothermal Power Plants in Kyushu


Another strong earthquake struck the southern Japanese island of Kyushu today.

The U.S. Geological Survey put the magnitude at 7.0. 

The epicenter is close to geothermal power plants at Haccobaru, Ohtake and Takenoyu. There is no news as yet of any damage.
