The project involves construction of a holistic wellness & health resort with an additional attraction in the form of tropical gardens; geothermal energy power plant of new generation based on own sustainable geothermal source with combined steam and gas production of electricity (7 MWe) and heat (24+MWth), and residential village development with villas and apartments surrounded by golf
course and the drinking and mineral water bottling plant from own source on the site.

“The aim is to achieve a considerably lower price than with any other energy sources. Work in Draškovec is already underway. We want to complete the power plant by the end of the year and the project is currently in the deep drilling phase. We started working on other infrastructure parts of the project such as cables connected to the main power line and we are preparing for the construction of the access road and drainage system for power plants” said adviser for AAT Geothermae Peter Vesenjak.
