Kalahari GeoEnergy to Drill 3rd Well in Kafue Basin (postzambia.com)

Kalahari GeoEnergy, the Zambian-based geothermal exploration company, will by April start to drill a third well at its identified sites in the Kafue Basin, chief executive officer Peter Vivian-Neal has said.

The company spudded the second well in its exploration drilling program near Lochinvar in Monze district in September last year.

"We are currently undertaking an analysis and verification of the results from the initial drills," Vivian-Neal said in an interview on Tuesday.

"By Easter, we should commence drilling the third well."

He added that Kalahari would have to drill about four wells and if the results are positive, the company would probably build a power plant.
