Kenya Power and Africa Geothermal International Kenya Limited (AGIL) signed a Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) on April 8 for development of a 140 MWe geothermal project in Longonot.
The PPA will see AGIL develop, construct, own, operate and maintain the geothermal project with Kenya Power purchasing the generated power.
