USA, California: Registration Opens for Short Courses on Codes Used in Simulating Multiphase Fluid and Heat Flow and Transport in Porous and Fractured Media

2020 TOUGH Short Courses: Registration Now Open (Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory - Earth and Environmental Sciences Area)

Registration for the 2020 TOUGH Short Courses is now open! Courses will be held this February at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory, Berkeley, California.

The following courses are offered:
The TOUGH family of codes is used for simulating multiphase fluid and heat flow and transport in porous and fractured media. The suite of TOUGH simulators has been applied to a wide range of studies involving the geological disposal of nuclear waste, geological CO2 sequestration, geothermal energy development, oil and gas production, environmental remediation and unsaturated zone hydrology. While ongoing development of TOUGH continues to expand modeling capabilities and incorporate increasingly complex processes, such as those associated with reactive chemistry (TOUGHREACT) and gas-hydrate dissociation (TOUGH+Hydrate), knowledge of the basic TOUGH modeling concepts serves as an important foundation.

Please note: The last day to register for courses is January 13, 2020.
