Nearly 22% of the supply came from geothermal energy

El Centro Nacional de Despacho de Carga de Nicaragua informó que el 1 de enero del 2015, el 83% de la energía generada procedía de renovables y que el 21,8% fue debido a la geotérmica.

The National Load Dispatch Center (NCDC) of Nicaragua reported that as of January 1, 83% of energy came from renewable energy, the highest figure in the history of the country and 21.8% was due to geothermal energy generation.
