IRENA Launches a New Renewable Energy News Resource
In the context of the meetings of the
Conference of the Parties (COP 20), currently in progress in Lima, Peru, the International Renewable Energy Agency (IRENA) has launched a multimedia online platform called the
IRENA Newsroom, a new blog about renewable energy and the Agency.
This week, the Newsroom will feature posts about IRENA’s participation in COP 20, schedules, articles, and information about the role of renewables in mitigating climate change. Moving forward, the Newsroom will continue to highlight the Agency's events, work, insights and announcements.
