Learn How to Maximize Your Aquaculture Operation With Minimal Heat Cost (FIS)

The Canadian Geothermal Energy Association (CanGEA) is holding a one day workshop that is tailored to the needs of aquaculture operators and enthusiasts.

Geothermal energy taps into heat from deep in the earth and has a number of ancillary uses like heating buildings, greenhouses, aquaponics tanks and melting icy roads. Communities benefit from using geothermal heat by reducing heating costs, increasing production, and providing a clean, reliable source of power to their facilities.

On March 28th, a preeminent world expert of direct heat-use GRC member Dr. John Lund will be leading a workshop in Calgary as an element of the annual CanGEA geothermal energy conference.

Dr. Lund literally wrote the book about geothermal direct heat-use and is sought around the globe to for his expertise on geothermal applications. This is the first time that an expert of his caliber has been brought to Canada to spread practical, applicable knowledge such as this.
