Mexico:

Four Companies Bidding for Geothermal EPC Contract at Los Azufres, Mexico (Cross-Posted from Think GeoEnergy)

The Federal Electricity Commission (CFE) in Mexico is soon expected to provide the results of a tender held for the construction of a new geothermal power plant at Los Azufres in Michoacan, Mexico.

There are four international groups that have provided financial bids that are currently reviewed.

The companies participating are Mitsubishi consortia with an offer of $69.8 million, Alstom/ Iberdrola with $74.9 million, Acciona and Seselec with $95.14 million and Senemex with $93.5 million.
