Fukushima to be New Geothermal Site? (UPI.com)

Fukushima, the prefecture where Japan's nuclear power plant disaster occurred, could host the country's largest geothermal power plant.

The proposed plant would have an electricity generation capacity of 270,000 kilowatts, roughly one-quarter of what a nuclear plant can generate, the Asahi Shimbun reports.
