A search study is staring at the potential use of heat — the warmth made within the planet — as a replacement supply of fresh and renewable energy for the UAE.

The project that is being undertaken by researchers at UAE University (UAEU) has studied earth science sites in each Al Own and Ras Al Khaimah, examining the new water spring reservoirs and analyzing their temperatures and sizes.

This project started in January of this year with the goal of understanding the likelihood of victimization heat within the UAE, so we tend to wished to review the geothermal areas, gathering the maximum amount knowledge as potential,” explained Dr Hakim Saibi, professor of geology at UAEU, and one amongst the researchers involved in the project.
