Penzance's iconic lido opened its gates today for the start of its 2019 season. Enjoying glorious sunshine, the Art Deco pool opened for its first day this year today, inviting swimmers to bathe in the new pool area, which is expected to be heated to 35 degrees Celsius when the geothermal heating system is operational in November.
