Webinar - R&D opportunities identified for the EPIC research roadmap on renewable energy generation technologies for utility-scale applications (CEC)

California Energy Commission staff will conduct a webinar to request public comments on the research and development (R&D) opportunities identified for the Electric Program Investment Fund (EPIC) research roadmap on renewable energy generation technologies for utility-scale applications. This webinar will open the discussion to the public.

The webinar will contain presentations and discussions led by Energy Commission staff and Energetics Incorporated. Discussion includes the following technologies and indicators:

• Grid infrastructure technologies and strategies. 
• Solar power technologies and metrics and performance indicators. 
• Land-based wind technologies and metrics and performance indicators. 
• Offshore wind technologies and metrics and performance indicators. 
• Bioenergy technologies and metrics and performance indicators. 
• Small hydropower technologies and metrics and performance indicators. 
• Geothermal technologies and metrics and performance indicators. 
• Energy storage technologies and metrics and performance indicators.

Oral comments will be accepted during the workshop. Written comments must be submitted by 5:00 p.m. on July 5, 2019.
