We are seek­ing highly qual­i­fied applic­ants with proven research exper­i­ence in geo­thermal energy sys­tems. This includes explor­a­tion and access of geo­thermal resources and devel­op­ment of sus­tain­able tech­no­lo­gies for their util­iz­a­tion.

The pro­fess­or­ship is expec­ted to con­trib­ute to major research areas of the top­ics “Geor­e­sources” and “Geoen­ergy” using a com­pet­it­ive infra­struc­ture. Par­ti­cip­a­tion in exist­ing depart­mental research both at GFZ and at TU Ber­lin and the setup of new major sci­ence pro­jects is anti­cip­ated.
