Работы по разработке технико-экономического обоснования проекта строительства геотермальной электростанции «Каркар» ведутся с 2017 года. Его реализацию в середине июля обсудили министр энергетических инфраструктур и природных ресурсов Армении Артур Григорян и посол Чехии Петр Микиска.
