Indonesia: Kiwis to Help in Geothermal Drilling Project Development

Indonesia, New Zealand team up to speed up geothermal energy dev’t (Rambu Energy)

Indonesian and New Zealand governments have on Tuesday (March 7) signed a Partnership Arrangement on geothermal drilling project development in Indonesia.

The partnership was signed by Yunus Saefulhak, Director for Geothermal at the Directorate General for New, Renewable and Energy Conservation at the Energy and Mineral Resources Ministry (ESDM) and Foreign and Trade Ministry of New Zealand and Development Counselor of the New Zealand Embassy in Indonesia Mehaka Rountree.


The purpose of the Partnership Arrangement is to speed up the development of geothermal projects in order to support the social and economic development in Indonesia through government drilling program.
