Indonesia: 110 MW Expansion of Ulubelu Geothermal Power Plant - Fully Operational by June 2017

PLTP Ulubelu project 79.65 percent completed: EPG (republika.co.id)

PT Pertamina Geothermal Energy (PGE) said construction of the 3rd and 4th units of PLTP Ulubelu geothermal power plant in Tenggamus, Lampung is now 79.65 percent completed.

PGE President Director Irfan Zainuddin said each of the two new units will have a capacity of 55 megawatts.

The 3rd unit is to be commercially operational in August 2016 and the 4th unit would follow in June 2017, Irfan said here on Thursday.

The 1st and 2nd units of PLTP Ulubelu each with a capacity of 55 MW, are already operational 2012. If the two new facilities come on line in 2017, PLTP Ulubelu will have a total capacity of 220 MW equivalent to 9,570 barrels of oil per day.
