USA, California:

Raising Fish Using Geothermal Water at the Salton Sea (Palomar TV)

Video about Tilapia farming at Pacific Aquafarms using Geothermal heat near Salton Sea

Salton Sea Geology - Pacific Aqua Farms from Palomar TV on Vimeo.

The isolated location was selected because of the unique geothermal water. The water is from geothermal wells that produce 140 degrees F water which is ideal for year-round growth of fish. The farm uses a combination of semi intensive ½ acre ponds and very intensive 40 ft. tanks to rear the fish.
