British Prime Minister Offers Loans to Find Geothermal Energy Development in Indonesia (ABC Online)

Geothermal power projects worth 66 million pounds ($140 million) could be funded

British prime minister David Cameron says his government will make available loans of up to 1 billion pounds ($2.1 billion) to Indonesia to help finance infrastructure projects.

The British government said the financing for South-East Asia's largest economy could pave the way for 200 million pounds ($425 million) worth of Indonesian exports to Britain.

Possible projects include a 400 million pound ($850 million) sewage treatment system in the capital, Jakarta, and geothermal power projects worth 66 million pounds ($140 million).
