  • Serve as principal advisor to the Office Director on all aspects of planning/programming, budget/finance and administration. Advises and provides recommendations on broad policy, program and human resource matters affecting programs and operations.
  • Develops and approves actions to conduct the programs or projects, including procurement actions, financial management, technical direction, and resolution of technical, legal and management problems.
  • Ensures consistent, timely, and accurate responses to information requests from internal and external sources. Ensures Program compliance with the Funding Opportunity Announcement (FOA) process and builds collaboration with other elements of EERE, including Procurement, NEPA, and the General Counsel.
  • Oversees information management including responses to IG/GAO reports, Executive and Congressional correspondence, and program status briefings. Coordinates information technology activities and data management initiatives.
  • Manages and directs the administrative services of the program office. Develops implements, evaluates, and monitors procedures and policies for process improvement and sound business practice with goals of timeliness, maximum customer service, and efficient use of resources.
  • Manages and administers the laboratory Annual Operating Plan (AOP) process. Works with Program staff to develop efficient and effective laboratory management and coordination. Tracks all laboratory and project spend plans to ensure efficient use of funds.
