Ormat Technologies, Inc. announced today that NV Energy has approved the Commercial Operation Date (COD) for the 30 MWe (net capacity) McGinness Hills geothermal power plant located in Lander County, Nevada. Following the COD approval, the plant is receiving full energy prices from July 1, 2012.
